Luis Segovia Sordo
Director, Site Solutions APAC, Hong Kong Office GMBA
Luis Segovia Sordo is the APAC head for Site Alliances, and the GMBA for the Hong Kong (China) office, where he is based. Luis joined Parexel in 1998. In these 25 years, Luis had held multiple roles (Clinical Operations, Project Leadership, Feasibility, Site Alliances) in 3 continents. That extensive multi-functional and intercontinental experience has turned Luis into a sharp developer, leader and implementer of clinical research strategies. He has built and groomed clinical trial teams of different scopes in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
In the past 9 years Luis has played strategic roles in site identification and selection, and site relationships. Through these roles Luis has learned how important profiling the expertise, experience and capabilities of the sites is. This way Parexel can ensure the right study is mapped to the right sites, therefore predicting the successful delivery of our clinical trials.
Luis currently leads the Site Alliances in APAC. The Site Alliances team relationship with investigators, nurses and administration roles allows for early engagement with the sites. In addition to providing key site intelligence in the early stages of protocol design or on the patient pathway, the Site Alliances team is a key player in supporting the development of Patient Centric Approaches or Decentralized Clinical Trials solutions.
