Allen Zhong, M.D., Ph.D.（钟飞）
Vice President, Oncology Therapeutic Area Head APAC
Physician scientist with over 14 years of clinical experience in drug development, in major pharmaceutical company, CRO and China leading Biotech company.
Dr. Zhong joined Parexel in 2022 and brought his leadership and expertise across all phases of drug development and real-world studies. In addition to his clinical experience on oncology drug development he leads the Parexel oncology medical service team in APAC and Japan. From strategic advice to execution of medical tasks, he ensures that study sponsors are provided with appropriate medical support. He supports medical monitors for complex assessments and critical decisions. He drives early adoption of innovations and provides consultancy in drug development in oncology medicine.
Dr. Zhong has seasoned clinical development experience from global Pharma, China leading Biotech and CRO together with in-depth knowledge in China and global clinical development strategy, regulatory process, and portfolio management, especially in the oncology therapeutic area. He successfully led/participated numerous phase I~III oncology studies in China and Australia, from protocol design to trial execution, and to health authority communication and submission.
Dr. Zhong received his M.D. at the School of Medicine, Wuhan University in China. He got his Ph.D. in Pathology at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
